I guess I am not much of a blogger! Because it takes me so long to actually post some news.
Well... I do want to thank all who supported the movie fund-raiser. It was a lot of fun. I am hoping to do another one, soon. Although, this time I will put it on to Sydny's (my oldest daughter) shoulders. She is trying to raise money for Luckyhill as her Sterling Scholar project. She is going to be placing cans around town and at the schools. If you would like to see her blog just go to www.youcanmakeachange10.blogspot.com
Last night the Young Women in our ward made a trip to our home to drop bags full of blankets, hats and scarfs. Thanks so much Parowan 4Th ward you are AWESOME! I will post photos as soon as I find the cord to the camera.

Fund-raiser in Parowan!
We are holding a fund-raiser in our great new town of Parowan. We have rented out the local theater. We are showing 'Down and Derby". It is a great family movie, about the pinewood derby, totally funny.
If you live here in Parowan or in the surrounding areas, and are looking for something to do stop by the Aladdin Theater in town and check out the dates and times. 100% of all the funds are going to Luckyhill Orphanage and School.
Thanks for the support! See you at the movies!
Many thanks to John Stone for the permission to show his movie and his generous donation. Thanks John!

Much needed blog up-date
I do know it has been a long time since my last post. After the Maui Taco fund-raiser, literally right after, like the day after, we (the Terry Family) moved to Utah. I am happy to report that families are going to Ghana and adding to their loving families. As for the Terry's our journey continues. We love, more than ever, Dublyn and Princeton. Our hearts are so full of love for them.
We have moved in to a great town, Parowan, Utah. At church the Young Women have jumped on the band wagon and are making humanitarian projects for us to take when we go to Ghana. So nice to have such great support in our new town. We love it! But at the same time we miss our friends back in California.
Princeton and Dublyn are getting bigger and bigger. Lois sent me some great photos of them and her daughter Lily, check them out. Today at the temple as we were waiting to enter, the most beautiful family entered the doors. It was a family that was being sealed to their beautiful newly adopted baby. I can't wait. It instantly brought tears to my eyes.
It has taken me this long to get to my blog after moving. I hope to be more on the ball. Hopefully soon I will have more to report.

Maui Taco's Fundraiser ~ Thursday, July 23, 2009
Ok! So it is on...the fundraiser. It is not the big event I blogged about earlier(maybe after the move) but it is going to be great.
Thanks to Maui Taco's in El Dorado Hills we are on! They are going to let us hold a fund raiser at their restaurant. Maui Taco's will be donating a portion of the proceeds back to Luckyhill Orphanage. :)
I love Maui Tacos.
The fund raiser is for the children at Luckyhill!
I have put together some amazing ways to help Luckyhill.
1. Make a donation
2. Sponsor a child, for one month or the whole year.
3. Donate a bed or a blanket or both.
4. Donate a set of towels.
It is going to be a fun night in the Town Center, there is a band in the amphitheatre, lots of people and a great fund raiser at Maui Tacos for Luckyhill. So, if you are reading this and you live in the area please come Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 3pm to closing. Please make sure you have a flyer so your purchase is counted towards Luckyhill.
If you can't make the event and want to help please let me know, I can hook you up.

If you would like to come please email me or comment on my blog. My email is jenter6@yahoo.com. The date is yet to be determined. It will most likely be the second week in June, so save the date. I will let you know exactly when the date is going to be, and all of the details. If you can not come and would like to donate to the Luckyhill Orphanage click on the donate button and make a donation it all goes to the orphanage!

A desperate plea for William, help save his feet!
This is a letter from Kingsley who tends to all of the children at the Luckyhill School.
Hello,
This is the photos of William, He was burnt some few weeks ago, and his condition is very critical, he can not walk or place feets on the ground. I have sent him to the hospital but still there's no improvement. Kingsley
His name is William. He has a younger sister, Pacience, who lives at Luckyhill. He was running and playing, and ran into a field where grass had been burning. Obviously, the fire was still smouldering. They ran out of pain medication, and can only afford to change the bandages every 3 days. If you can spare anything, please click here and donate to Luckyhill through paypal so this child can receive proper medical care. He's about 9 years old.
